Lucero

Copper exploration in western Malargüe

An exploration platform focused on the study of copper and base-metal mineralization in an Andean geological setting.

Project framework

Geological context

Building a progressively stronger understanding.

Lucero is located in a geologically complex region, where the interaction of sedimentary units, magmatic activity, structures and hydrothermal fluid circulation creates several exploration scenarios of interest.

The strategy integrates geological background, structural interpretation, alteration recognition, spatial analysis, remote sensing and field observations to progressively improve the geological model.

The objective at this stage is to improve interpretation and prioritize areas or questions that warrant more detailed study, without anticipating technical or economic conclusions.

Properties

Two properties. One integrated analytical framework.

01

Cobre del Sur

A property with exploration interest primarily associated with copper. Its evaluation seeks to understand the relationship between mineral occurrences, structures and local lithologies.

Background for exploration guidance
02

Plomo del Sur

A complementary property focused on identifying base-metal mineralization and assessing its potential geological relationship with the broader project system.

03

Methodology

Technical evaluation

Hypotheses, evidence and next steps.

01

Critical review of geological and historical background.

02

Integration of mapping, territorial analysis and remote sensing.

03

Technically justified surface reconnaissance.

04

Progressive prioritization of evaluation objectives.
