A family history of hard work, entrepreneurial initiative and involvement in Mendoza’s mining sector.

Exploring the geological potential of southern Mendoza
A mineral project development platform built on territorial knowledge, technical interpretation and progressive exploration.
Our origins
FAMILY LEGACY
The beginning of a story that continues.

Heritage Mining Group was born from a family history connected to mining, entrepreneurial vision and knowledge of the Mendoza territory.
The origins of the portfolio can be traced to José A. Fugazzotto, a descendant of Italian immigrants and an entrepreneur whose career was shaped by hard work, initiative and the ability to adapt to challenging circumstances. During a particularly difficult period for mining in Mendoza, he participated in the development of a diversified group of mineral assets while also pursuing investments associated with the real estate sector.
Building on that legacy, his son Luciano Fugazzotto took on the challenge of recovering, organizing and renewing a story shaped over time. As founder of Heritage Mining Group, Luciano is leading a new stage that brings historical background together with contemporary tools for analysis, mapping, GIS, information management and progressive project evaluation.
Heritage Mining Group represents the evolution of that history: a platform built on accumulated knowledge, a long-term perspective and a commitment to transforming a family legacy into a technically structured portfolio prepared for new opportunities for collaboration.
The recovery and organization of a legacy through contemporary technical tools and criteria.
To build better-understood, responsibly developed projects prepared for long-term strategic relationships.
Heritage today
Heritage Mining Group
Territorial knowledge.
Project stewardship.
A long-term perspective.
Heritage Mining Group is a mineral project development platform focused on southern Mendoza, Argentina.
Our portfolio brings together properties associated with different geological environments and commodities, integrating assets with historical background, available geological information and contemporary analytical and interpretation tools.
We transform dispersed geological information into structured, technically understandable projects prepared to advance toward new stages of evaluation and collaboration.
We distinguish historical background from currently verified information.
We tailor each program to the knowledge level of the property.
We incorporate environmental and territorial criteria from the outset.
Southern Andes — regional reference
The territory
Malargüe, Mendoza
A territory defined by its geological diversity.
Southern Mendoza brings together sedimentary, magmatic, volcanic and structural environments shaped by the evolution of the Andes and the sedimentary basins of western Argentina.
Understanding the territory is a fundamental part of exploration. Each evaluation considers local and regional geology, topography, access, environmental conditions and different land uses.
This site publishes regional location references only; it does not disclose property coordinates or polygons.
Public cartography
Five projects. One regional perspective.
The areas are shown through generalized radii centered on public geographic references. Their purpose is to communicate territorial context without disclosing precise locations.
Approximate regional area; it does not represent the location or boundaries of a mineral property.
The circles do not represent concessions, mineral tenures, resources, reserves or mineral rights.
Public cartographic sources: IGN Argentina, Argentina's Ministry of Public Works, the National Education Map and GeoNames. HMG cartographic compilation.
Our portfolio
Geological diversification
Five projects.
One strategic region.
Each asset is at a distinct stage of understanding. Our methodology is tailored to each project, prioritizing interpretation, mapping and the progressive definition of exploration objectives.
Lucero
An exploration platform focused on the study of copper and base-metal mineralization in an Andean geological setting.
Atlas
A project combining historical geological and mining background with contemporary technical interpretation tools.
Tinta Nero
Four properties focused on the study of asphaltite occurrences within the sedimentary systems of southern Mendoza.
Los Seis
Two properties focused on the geological evaluation of coal within sedimentary environments in southern Mendoza.
Volcán Overo
A project associated with sulfur exploration in a geological environment of volcanic and hydrothermal origin.
How we develop projects
Responsible exploration
Better information before greater intervention.
We understand exploration as a progressive process of reducing uncertainty. The objective is to generate the right information for better decisions at every stage.
Review
We organize historical background, public information and available geological documentation.
Interpret
We integrate mapping, GIS, remote sensing and structural analysis to build working hypotheses.
Verify
We test hypotheses through territorial reconnaissance and technically justified field observations.
Prioritize
We define the next step according to the knowledge level and characteristics of each project.
The next stage

Let’s discuss the next step
Every project begins with a geological question.
We bring the information together, build the model and define what should come next.
